Kortney Warren grew up in Oceanside, California where she began her dancing career at the age of four, and started dancing competitively for Dance Unlimited Performing Arts Academy by the age of five. She has trained extensively in all genres of dance for 14 years, including contemporary, jazz, lyrical, tap, hip-hop, musical theater, and pointe. Her training has been under the instruction of both the amazing instructors of Dance Unlimited as well as countless nationally renowned choreographers outside of the studio. Kortney has consistently ranked as a top competitor, including numerous national first place titles. Kortney's performances have had multiple Industry Dance Award national recognitions.

Kortney began her dance agency representation at the age of 11 with Bloc Talent Agency in Los Angeles, CA.  She has performed in numerous benefit shows including Disney and Nike.  In addition to dancing with the Dance Unlimited Competition Team, Kortney also spent 2 years dancing with the Unity Dance Ensemble.  Kortney loves having the opportunity to expand on her own dancing career by being able to teach and choreograph for others. She has had numerous assistant teaching jobs, both in and outside of California. She started teaching as an assistant at the age of 12 and started substitute teaching at 16. Teaching her own classes this year has been a highlight in Kortney's dance career. Sharing her passion for dance is so rewarding for her, and she hopes to inspire other young dancers to pursue their dreams.

Kortney finished up her senior year at El Camino High School on the ECDC dance team as well as being a leader for the Dance III program and an assistant teacher for the Dance II program at El Camino High. She plans to continue to teach for Dance Unlimited, the studio she has called home for almost fifteen years, as well as continue agency representation and pursue jobs in the dance industry. She will further her own dance education, as well as expand her training to include acting and singing.

Kortney looks forward to working with the students of Dance Unlimited Performing Arts Academy, and is excited to share her knowledge and passion for dance.
